Guru Josh & Lauren Rose – Frozen Teardrops (XM Remix)

“Producer Paul Walden made his recording debut as Guru Josh in 1989 with a white label 12″ of “Infinity” intended to promote a rave of the same name. Though only 1,000 copies of the 12″ were reportedly pressed, it became an acid house anthem at The Haçienda, an influential dance club in Manchester, England, where Mike Pickering, the club’s Friday night DJ, championed the song. In the wake of the song’s sudden popularity amid the British acid house scene, Guru Josh was offered a recording contract with Deconstruction, a dance music subsidiary of BMG.

Dani Vars & Julio Cuba – The Last Sunrise (Violin Remix)

The perfect remix for this track! That violin sound makes it all! Dani Vars and Julio Cuba had real inspiring ideas on this one. However, we couldn’t find the full version. Nothing more to be said. Just listen to it.

Having already been for a long time in the European Top Music Charts, “Rush Love” is still one of the most appreciated track releases of 2010. Zabava joined “Rush Love” with Osaka’s “Save Me Girl” and achievedgreat result in his mashup. This one is gonna crash the charts too!

Steve Kaetzel & Brianna Holan – So Alone (Extended Mix)

Whether he’s remixing some of the world’s top producers or working the dance floor with his Ableton Live powered set up, Steve Kaetzel is quickly becoming the next rising star of the electronic dance music community. With a steady stream of releases on the legendary Black Hole Recordings and a growing catalog of remixes to the tune of Moonbeam and Zoo Brazil, DJs and clubgoers around the globe are taking swift notice of this American powerhouse.

The second of the two EPs, a collaboration with vocalist Brianna Holan titled “So Alone”, received near instantaneous worldwide support with airplay on Markus Schulz’s “Coldharbour Day”, Roger Shah’s “Magic Island: Music for Balearic People”, and “Anjunabeats Worldwide”. Furthermore, his remixes have had no trouble making their way into the most high profile tracklists as well including Tiësto’s “Club Life” and Sander van Doorn’s “Identity”.

With more releases on the way and plans for future collaborations and touring, 2011 is sure to be a big year for Steve. Always searching for new ways to bring emotion and melody to the dance floor, the future looks quite bright for this uniquely talented artist as he continues his ascent to the upper regions of the global dance music arena.

Sunlounger – White Sand (High Noon At Salinas Remix)

Sunlounger is without doubt Roger Shah’s best known stage name. It was under this handle that he released the `Another Day on The Terrace` long−player in 2008. It reached No.1 on Dutch iTunes` `all−music−genres` chart and spawned four singles: `In & Out`, `Aguas Blancas`, `Crawling` & `White Sand`. The project become so celebrated that Roger expanded Sunlounger into a live act − a performance of which was featured on Armada`s ArminOnly DVD. It was this experience that he credited with his latter wholesale move into live Roger Shah performances. In 2009 Roger released the Sunlounger follow−up `Sunny Tales`. Its progeny singles included `Catwalk`, `Mediterranean Flower`, `Change Your Mind` and the much−revered `Lost` − a track that took the illustrious Single of the 2008 title on the A State of Trance radio show.

On stage, clad in his trademark white, he is impossible to miss or mistake. Wireless keyboard in one hand, an ever−ready clutch of his own productions in the other, his live crowd−interactive performances have brought a new apex experience for club and festival goers worldwide. In 2009 this unequalled approach was reflected in DJ Magazine`s Top 100 chart, where he moved up from his `08 debut position of no.58 to no.21. As a music producer he`s scaled the heights of national charts and with 5 artist albums & compilations released in the last 2 years alone, he is very possibly the most prolific trance musician working today.

Supermode – Tell Me Why (Sunpads Remix)

In the spring of 2006, Steve Angello & Axwell joined forces to create Supermode. Their first big hit, “Tell Me Why”, remixed Bronski Beat’s “Smalltown Boy”, since the sample from the original song repeats “tell me why” (which is not a sample from the song “Smalltown Boy”, but from Bronski Beat’s second No. 1 Hit “Why”). The song was released under the Data records label.

DJ’s From Mars – Don’t Give Up (Walker & Daniels Remix)

Originally released in Italy on 2nd November 2008, “Don’t Give Up” is one of DJ’s From Mars’ s first single compositions. As we are all used to their famous remixes, the track is actually a remake of Chicane’s “Don’t Give Up”, featuring Bryan Adams, made public in 2000. A very good track in our opinion.

Corona – The Rhythm Of The Night (DJ Nathaniel Remix)

“”The Rhythm of the Night” is the debut single by the Italian band Corona.  The song was released first in 1993, then on August 5, 1994 for the remixes version. Particularly devoted to the dancefloors, it had a great success, reaching the highest positions in various Singles Charts around the world. It peaked at #1 in Israel and Italy. It also reached #11 on the U.S. Billboard chart.
In the United Kingdom it was released in September 1994 and reached #2, kept off by Whigfield – Saturday Night, and stayed in the UK Singles Chart for 18 weeks.”

A very good remix of old “The Rhythm Of The Night” by italian DJ Nathaniel. It should be named “a violin remix” because strings make this tune perfect.

Remady P&R – No Superstar (Mr. P!nk Remix)

After having presented CS-Jay’s Club Remix of “Superstar”, by Remady P&R, we thought we should include this “old-style” electro remix too in ModernVibes Remixes. Mr. P!nk took the vocals and placed them under a classic electro tune, creating this great “bootleg” mix. And a tip: it sounds really good at high volumes!

4 Strings – Take Me Away (Alaa Late Night Bootleg Remix)

Behind the name 4 Strings hides 2 musicians, Carlo and Jan. The two have known each other since 1986. In 1990 they became interested in dance music and so they started producing their own music. With the new tools and experience that they had, Carlo and Jan could finally discover in which direction they wanted to go with their musical careers. Carlo decided to stay in the studio while Jan found his passion in mixing and started his DJ-ing career.

Jimmy Dub – Monday (DJ TayNa & DJ Stef Remix)

Clubbing has never been so intense like in the last two or three years.  While being surrouned by sound vibes from all over the world, romanian electronic music scene keeps rising from day to day. In this particular case, Jimmy Dub, a romanian DJ, is one of the people who is very appreciated for his high jumps in the european music charts.

Jimmy Dub is a young romanian artist who discovered his love for the music at the early age of 7. He first started in the dance world and short after that, he became a DJ. He flirted in the same time with the microphone as an MC, achieving all the ingredients and experience he needed to gain confidence. And that’s how he discovered his hobby, his passion. Jimmy Dub offers to the public a very catchy voice and a stylish look next to his three dancers and a DJ. All of his songs have a positive theme and are very easy to remember.

Stromae Vs Dance All Stars – Alors On Danse (Djs From Mars HyperBootleg Remix)

“The Stromae sound, influenced by new wave beats that are mainly derived from Belgium, express a more subversive danceable version of their early 90’s Technotronic and underground House music. The new beat term refers to a new “beat” oriented sound, encompassed by combining electronic club music and techno with a flavour of 80’s Chicago House music.
Born Paul Van Haver, the beat making prodigy cradled in hip-hop and electro music, discovered his zeal for the drums and percussion as a child. Son of a Rwandan father and a Belgium mother, he practices from his home studio in Brussels, Belgium. Composer, songwriter, interpreter, he produces his own tracks which he later presents in an innovative manner.

Art never made style and style has never made the art. The latest face of the new beat generation is the internationally renowned artist known as Stromae, who is set to release his debut album “Cheese” in 2010. Lead by “Alors on Danse,” Stromae has become a massive music phenomenon. Against the conventions of baggy rags, the young maestro has no desire for the artifice of the hip-hop bling. Instead, this artist’s humble demeanor comes dressed in a bow tie, his reason being “simply being dressed for work like everyone else.” Ironically the loather of trends would soon become a trend of own. Always in the core of the movement, this distinguished artist is above all, his own creator.”

R.I.O. – Hot Girl (Olav Basoski Remix)

"To some, Olav Basoski is the “grand signeur” of Dutch housemusic. Others find him to be their inspiration to pursue a career in Dj’ing. Those who have heard him play one of his firing sets across the globe have been overwhelmed by his ability to lock a dancefloor into a groove for hours on end.
There is a lot to say about Olav Basoski, but one thing is certain; he stood at the crib of the international house scene and has been on top of it ever since. Being the leading man behind the infamous Dutch label Work Records he’s released one true classic after another. Think Pancake – “Don’t turn your back”, think Sil – “Windows”, or “Opium Scumbagz”, the #1 Ibiza anthem of 2000 under his own name, not to mention one of the most sought after housemusic vinylseries ever produced, “Samplitude”, comprising over 50 tracks in all.

And it doesn’t stop there; Olav’s remix-discography reads like a challenging list of timeless musical works too, well over a hundred. From Moby to James Brown, from Bob Marley to Hatiras and from Armin van Buuren to Todd Terry to Phats and Small, everyone has called him in for help.
Being the creative driving force behind his own imprint Rootz Records he is constantly feeding his numerous fans with high quality dancefloor material, and his DJ sets have gained him a reputation of being one of the most respected key players in the scene."

Anda Adam – Love On You (ZRecords Remix)

“Fascinated with the entertainment system, Anda Adam is one of the most influent figures in romanian show-biz since she was 17. Her first album with Marius Moga from MORANDI had a strong impact with media. They are already aware of Anda’s spectacular shows :100% live with a very powerful voice ,energy, amazing choreography and a very professional dance team. “Selecta” (feat. Alex), was an instant hit, followed by the song that was climbing the charts, “Ajutor”. “Nai,Nai”,song from the same “Confidential” album brings a new featuring, this time with Bishop, being one of the favorite song at the moment, and top of all playlist for radio stations . “Ochii mei”, a successful song from “Confidential” album, has a very well done videoclip produced by Julian Moga. Smiley and Randy brought their contribution too ,matching very good Anda’s musical style. As a result of all this good job done, Anda Adam won a Gold and Platinum Disc for sales.
Soon after her success, Anda accepted the proposal of PRO TV to be part of the famous show “Dancing with the Stars”. Being a very good dancer, Anda delighted the viewers with an amazing performance, wishing from her heart to help her partner to win the competition. December 2008 – is the beginning of her collaboration with record company Media Pro Music. January – just in a few months Anda released a new album ” Queen of Hearts”. 10 songs, popdance and clubbing, in romanian and english language. “Punani”, first single of this album, has a very dynamic videoclip, where Anda besides her vocal qualities shows amazing dance skill next to Deenice, one of Mariah Carey’s dancers who traveled from Germany to be part of Anda’s videoclip. The most representative song from “Queen of Hearts” album is still “My Soul”. With this song , Anda wished to bring close to her soul all her fans, and the videoclip, didn’t do anything more then to complete her wish. Anda Adam just released her newest single, Love On U, which is a great combination of dance/club with oriental style."
