"Djuma Soundsystem is Norwegian Mikkas and Danish Lars B who both live in Copenhagen. They met first time when they DJed at one of Copenhagens longest running club nights, the Sunday club “Offline”, and quickly became unseparable friends and production partners. Mikkas and Lars’ producer career started in a for club music producers somewhat odd way; In 2001 they composed and produced the music for the ballet “Off The Record” for The Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen. A ballet that merged classical music with elements of new electronic genres. The story of Djuma Soundsystem began a couple of years later in 2003, when Mikkas and Lars B decided to make a tune under the following dogma: to make an ethnical sounding club banger, that wasn’t cheesy!? Mikkas and Lars B has remixed, produced and coproduced tracks under many different monikers, such as Ben Horn and Def Jaguar. They have just finished remixing a track for Philipe Cohen Solal (Gotan Project) under their Ben Horn moniker, for his Moonshine sessions project on Ya Basta records and are releasing as Def Jaguar on Danish based label Big Star records and IO in UK. As DJs Lars and Mikkas has been playing for over a decade, all over Europe, and residencies includes Vega, Culture Box and Rust in Copenhagen. "Narcotic Thrust comprises of multi-talented DJ/Producer duo Andy Morris and Stuart Crichton. Although the name may appear to be a new one for many, the pair have been working both together and independently in the dance scene for over ten years. It should be pointed out that Narcotic Thrust’s name comes not from references to intravenous drug abuse or even from substance enhanced sexual activity, but is simply an anagram of Stuart’s name! Stuart began with some seminal slabs of progressive house on Limbo Records in the early 90’s under such guises as "Havana" as well as remixing the big names of the day such as The Grid and Rozalla. Then under the name Umboza he scored 2 top 15 hits for Positiva Records with “Cry India” and “Sunshine”. Stuart continued to write and produce with cream of the dance industry. He was recently responsible for the cheeky mash-up of Kylie and New Order used on the Brit Awards. George and Doru started working on their project by the 2006 winter. While taking some time and working close to other music producers in their studio, ideas started to show up and get shaped as a new concept, but there were no good results until two years later. These lyrics bring up some weird crossed-phrases, mostly true and kinda funny. I found the Kaito Mix of "My MTV" by Noir, wich actually sounds good, not as good as the Decaff Remix, but I'm not able to find it anymore on the web. I'll have to wait for directions from you.

All who have tried have realised that there is a difference between writing a piece that sounds either amateurish or too commercial and creating something truly unique. Electronic music is supposed to be opening new horizons towards melodic and rhythmic structures that are not limited by physical properties of natural instruments and its musicians. One can argue though, that the removal of all such intermediaries brings the composer a step closer to the ultimate barrier. Of course, we’re talking about inspiration. There are a plenty of audio samples and software packages out there, in fact maybe too many. Machines are increasingly fast and humans increasingly impatient which inevitably leads to a path where machines will be able to interface with the composer on almost an organic level and reward the musician with an instant result. Vali Barbulescu – Addicted (Deepside Deejays Remix)

Vali Barbulescu is a romanian photographer and music producer. He started mixing for the first time at the age of 20, using the famous Technics  SL 1200 MKII turntable. As a professional Dj, during his career he worked together with famous artists like ATB, Roger Sanchez, David Morales or James Zabiela. Vali is also a publisher for the FHM magazine, as photographer. The 2010 version of well-known dancefloor smash hit "Addicted" is actually a mashup beetween "Addicted to Beautiful Days" of Deepside DeeJays and Vali Barbulescu's "Addicted". Both parts work together excelent, generating repeateadly demands for the audience.

Mika – Relax, Take It Easy (Dj Sveta Club Mix)

Originally released in the UK in 2006, "Relax Take It Easy" is one of Mika's major hit's, beeing at the same time his debut single. Dj Sveta made a hit a big on this one. The arrangement is obviously reworked while carefully taking care of the vocals so the bass line may fit exactly with the tempo. Described as a beautiful remix, "Relax, Take It Easy" in Sveta's version pushes club boundaries beyond expectable. 4 years since official release, 2 years since this remix and I still can't find a better one. I'm gonna let you decide if I'm right or wrong.
