Xonia & Deepcentral - My Beautiful One (Extended Mix)

" Xonia is a true example of a triple threat. She’s a singer/songwriter, dancer and actress. Xonia was born in Melbourne, Australia, where she started her music career at the age of 8 and by the time she turned 14, X had signed with a record label. As an anxious and naive young girl Xonia developed her musical knowledge and reached a clear understanding of the artist she wanted to become.  Xonia began creating a unique music style through the creation of her original material and moulding into a professional singer with experience through live performances. Xonia worked hard in the recording studio experimenting and worked on collaborations with established industry moguls, among them Martin Jenkins of VHJ Music, Rob Davis (Kylie Minogue ‘Can’t Get You Outta My Head’), Brian Rawling (Cher, Danni Minogue ), Doug Brady (John Farman, Olivia Newton John),Kevin Colbert (Paulina Rubio ‘Casanova’) and Brian Canham (Psuedo Echo  ‘Funky Town’). In 2006 Xonia was selected to represent Australia for the international Beauty Contest ‘Miss Diaspora’ which gave her the opportunity to taste the music industry having been invited to perform in front of 20,000 live spectators at the Callatis Festival. The Romanian showbiz industry was so impressed with her talent that she was invited to perform on various TV shows including Horia Moculescu’s ‘Slagare In Revenire’ and Stela si Arsinel- Sare si Piper.  Her music received air play and she appeared on magazine covers and had frequent newspaper circulation. In 2008 Xonia decided to work independently and further develop her artistry after being accepted to study with Hollywood Pop Academy in Los Angeles, who among their current and former client rosters includes: Janet Jackson, Ne-Yo, Rihanna, Adam Levine (Maroon 5), Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, Corbin Bleu, Lindsay Lohan, Boyz II Men, Brian McKnight, among others. Xonia also toured the United States performing for the Romanian Community social events and spent time in New York recording and working on her original material. Whilst living in America, Xonia received an invitation to participate as a jury member for the annual Miss Diaspora Contest and to return to perform once again at the Callatis Festival. Xonia accepted the invitation and based on her success signed a management deal to officially launch her music career in Romania. Xonia is currently working on her album with famed music producers including Marius Moga, George Hora, Mihai Ogasanu,and Deepcentral.
Along with working towards a music career Xonia also nurtured other talents she had from an early age, including training with prestige ‘The Australian Ballet School’ since she was 7years old, having been selected from hundreds of dancers from all over the world. Within her time with the school Xonia achieved outstanding results having performed as a guest artist with international dance companies such as The Royal Ballet, The English National, The Kiev Ballet, and The Australian Ballet. Xonia was also selected for the principal role of Young Clara for The Dancer’s Company Tour production of ‘The Nutcracker,’ which toured regional Victoria, NSW and Tasmania. Xonia graduated from the Australian Ballet School with qualifications (Certificate III in Dance) and decided to further her dance styles with renowned choreographer and dance coach Robert Sturrock who’s television credits include The Simon Gallagher Series, The Saturday Show, Countdown, The Don Lane Show, Hey Hey it’s Saturday and the Logies. In 2006 Xonia performed in the Melbourne Commonwealth Games opening and closing ceremonies and was selected to partner with guest star, football player Nathan Brown from Richmond team. Xonia also showcased her choreography ability having worked with dance music artist Platinum Lover for her live shows and as a back-up dancer featuring in music video clips for artist’s such as Ian Smith (from TV series Neighbours) and Laura Gissara (Australian Idol). In 2008 Xonia studied further commercial dance under the guidance of Kamilah Barret (So you think you can Dance finalist) at Hollywood Pop Academy. Xonia has developed jazz, modern, contemporary, ballet, point, tap, and hip-hop dance styles.Xonia grew a fascination with acting having been inspired by her brother to undertake coaching. She began at Screen Actors Studio and soon after signed with acting agencies where she began working and feeling comfortable in front of cameras whilst casting jobs. In movies Xonia featured in Noah’s Ark (Cable TV), Sea Chance (TV Series A.B.C), High Flyers (Channel 10), Holly’s Heroes(Cable TV) Neighbours TV Series (Grundy Television) Lost and Found (Feature Film, David Blake) Charlotte’s Web(Paramount Pictures) and Lead Actress in short Film What to Say (TheIndianMaiden). Xonia modelled in print advertising for Mazda cars and TVC for Weston’s Cakes and Bar, but Xonia can be most recognised for the role of ‘bubblegum girl’ in leading gym Fernwood Fitness Centre commercial campaigns.  Besides film and television Xonia also worked in theatre productions gaining principal role of Brigitta in The Sound of Music, character Rosie in Dinkum Assorted, and for VCE subject Theatre Studies she was examined on monologue piece The Good Woman of Szechwan as character Wang.
